CLIMATE CIRCLES

DESCRIPTION

This work serves to explore the representation of climate data from across the world. Each ring is the graphical representation of a city. All seven continents are represented with six distinct cities. The cities were selected in a way to best represent the climate types from each continent. The diagram represents data from one year with each ring representing the average temperature on each day [365 data points for each city]. The goal of this project was to display climate data in an organic and visually distinctive manner, but provide a clear visual conceptualization of climate and temperature throughout the world.
